We are delighted that our research assistant Dana Braß has been awarded the Technologies d'Avenir scholarship. As part of this scholarship, she will spend a month at the Institut de recherche en santé, environnement et travail (IRSET) in Rennes, France, in the fall. There she will work on her Master's thesis together with Dr. Paquito Bernard from INSERM.

Dana is working on the analysis of physical activity in everyday life. One focus of her work is on how to increase the use of stairs in order to promote health and prevent cardiovascular disease. Her work perfectly complements Dr. Bernard's research on the impact of exercise on mental health - a great opportunity for professional exchange and collaboration.

We wish Dana a great and successful time in France!
