Information on the new examination regulations 2020

Information for students studying under the old examination regulations (PO 2015) but wishing to switch to the new examination regulations (PO 2020) or already studying under the new examination regulations (PO 2020)

  1. The Module 4.5 (Prevention & Rehabilitation and Ethical-Legal Foundations of Psychological Practice) will be offered again in the winter semester 2022/23 before its scheduled start in the summer semester 2023 and subsequent summer semesters. At this time, it is still uncertain whether there will be two examination dates in the winter semester 2022/23. Currently, only one examination date is planned, which will be scheduled at the beginning of the semester break.

  2. For Module 4.1 (Applied Psychological Assessment), the following changes apply:
    1. Students who take Module 4.1 in the winter semester 2022 and have been studying under the PO 2020 from the beginning will receive 5 credit points (LP).
    2. Students who wish to switch to the PO 2020 or have already switched have two options:
    a) They can attend Module 4.1 in the winter semester 2022/23 as per the regular schedule.
    b) This option mainly applies to students who have already taken Module 4.1 and wish to switch to the PO 2020. They will earn an additional 1 LP by participating in an additional event offered in the winter semester 2022. The prerequisite for enrolling in the "additional module" is proof of having completed Module 4.1 in a previous semester. In the "additional module," you will be given a task based on Module 4.1 (PO 2015), and it carries 1 LP.
