TWOgether
This project aims to explore successful ways to increase physical activity in adolescents. In particular, we want to answer the question whether physical activity can be enhanced long-term by engaging in activities with a partner/friend. In this study, diary surveys as well as activity sensors are used to ensure an accurate recording of physical activities. Overall, adolescents participated in this study over the course of 6 months. Participants encompass friend dyads between 14 and 18 years, as the level of daily physical activity of this age group has been found to be insufficient by the standards of the the Federal Office of Public Health (Switzerland).
