Phubbing: Smartphone-induced social exclusion.

The smartphone is ubiquitous in our daily lives - on average, less than twenty minutes pass between two glances we cast upon it. In interpersonal relationships, this can lead to conflicts. The effect of smartphone use in social situations will be examined in this study within romantic relationships: How does inappropriate usage - also referred to as phubbing - impact the well-being of couples and their closeness to each other? And what aids in changing this behavior? Currently, the project is in the data analysis phase.
