19.12.2024|22:31 Uhr

We are thrilled that the EHPS Habit Special Interest Group has announced the winners of their seed funding to the international project "Breaking the Habit: A Comparative Study of Habit Decay Strategies to Reduce Social Media Use." This innovative study will explore effective strategies to help individuals reduce social media use by targeting habit decay—a crucial and timely topic in today’s digital age.

Ann-Kathrin Sowa from our team is a proud member of the international project team, collaborating with Laura Gördes (University of Bern), Nicholas Browning and Jacob Keech (Griffith University Brisbane), Phillippa Lally (University of Surrey), Madelynne Arden (Sheffield Hallam University) and Nora Nock (Case Western Reserve University Cleveland).

Preparations are already in full swing and we can’t wait to discover new insights about social media use and habits!

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting research!
